The Saga Tailor Pro-Am Tour Rules
All players will play of scratch. There will be no play-offs. In the case of a tie for any position, the money will be shared.
Tees:
Pros: Plays of the back tees.
Senior Pro: (50 years & older) One tee box up.
Lady Pro: Two tee boxes up.
Amateurs: One tee box up.
Senior Amateurs: (50 years & older) Two tee boxes up.
Lady Amateurs: From the red tee boxes.
Founding Members can give special exceptions.
The Tour will be running an Order of Merit for all players (pro and am), based on a points system, where the top 20 players in each tournament get OoM points. The top 10 in the OoM, at the end of the season, will receive bonus money. If an Amateur chooses to receive Top-10 bonus money they will not be able to receive any Top-5 prize in the Siam PGA Amateur league.
Additionally, the “SIAM PGA Amateur League” is the amateurs’ own Order of Merit. At the
end of the season, prizes will be awarded to the top 5 best Amateurs. The Amateur League is
based on a points system that awards points to the top 20 best amateur players in each event.
Every player has to join “The SAGA TAILOR Pro-Am Tour” before playing his or her first
tournament.
This money goes towards the end of season Order of Merit prize purse and administration costs.
The Season runs from August to June of the following year.
Year member fee: 900 Baht (This includes a member shirt and HIO fond) or 500 Baht, no shirt.
200 Baht Hole In One (HIO) Fee lasts for max one season or to the first HIO. After a HIO all players need to pay
in an additional 200 Baht for the rest of the season or to the next HIO.
Hole-in-One Challenge – A Hole In One wins 75% of accumulated HIO Fond. The 25% of the money will be to start the new HIO fond.
Each event’s “Par-3 challenge”, “lowest No. of putts” and “skins completion” will continue as
normal.
Entry Fee: 1000 Baht. (600 Baht: Low score money (Am. Sponsor Prizes). 200 Baht: Skins.
100 Baht: Par-3 challenge. 100 Baht: Putting Competition.
Green Fee: Will vary according to venue, amounts to be confirmed.
Registration: 1 hour before first tee-off.
The draw: Playing groups (3 or 4 players per group) to be drawn and announced
15 min before start of play.
Prize giving: Within 20 min after the last group has returned their scorecards.
